Just weeks after reclaiming the title of the World’s Largest Buc-ee’s, the community of Luling was forced to see the old empty convenience store go up in flames Monday morning. Officials with the Luling Volunteer Fire Department said the building on IH 10 reportedly caught fire during demolition. The old Buc-ee’s sat very near and to the east of the newly opened store. They both share the same parking lot. Officials say they do not know exactly what caused the fire. Photo by Joe Cardenas
