CORAL SPRINGS, FL — Texas Lutheran women’s golfers Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) and Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) were named to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team, the organization announced Monday.

Both Bulldogs maintained an overall cumulative GPA of 3.5-or-higher and played in at least 50% of the team’s competitions during the 2023-24 campaign in order to qualify for the honor. The golf duo was also named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) All-District Team in June. Frederick and Springs have now earned the WGCA honors for the third and second time in their careers respectively, earning the honors every year of their respective careers.

Texas Lutheran women’s golf finished sixth at the 2024 SCAC Tournament led by Frederick’s 18th place finish.
