Bedrich George “Benny” Klekar Jr., of Seguin, passed away June 27, 2024. He was born January 1, 1943, in Shiner, Texas to Bedrich, Sr. and Ludmilla (Randuch) Klekar.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryan Douglas Klekar and in-laws; Mansvet and Rosie “Billeck” Vana.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Rose Marie Klekar; son, Robert Klekar and wife Heather; daughter, Robbin Koehler and husband Dean; grandchildren, Bryan Graham Klekar, Harrison Graham Klekar, Douglas Alden Klekar, Matthew Benjamin Koehler, and Abigail Rose Koehler; sister-in-law, Doris Volek; nieces, Jeanette Johnston and husband Ron and Brenda Kurtz; several great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Tim Sternberger officiating. Burial will take place Friday, July 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Flatonia, Texas with Pastor Emmanuel Carpenter officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Klekar, Harrison Klekar, Douglas Klekar, Robert Klekar, Abigail Koehler, Matthew Koehler, Robbin Koehler. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Koehler and Heather Klekar.
