(Seguin) – Seguin Radio KWED is adding a new mix to its music line-up during this Saturday’s Freedom Fiesta.
Along with the live music being provided on stage by Country Artist Brandon Michael, DJ DTrayne has also been invited to keep folks dancing on the other end of the festival grounds.
Among DTrayne’s accolades is being named the 2023 Gold Winner for Top DJ in the Seguin Radio KWED Top Choice Awards.
KWED says it wanted to add to the energy of this year’s event and keep people dancing.
DJ DTrayne, as he is best known around town, says he is ready this weekend to bring out those good vibes.
“I’m originally from Seguin, born and raised. I love the community. I love doing community events out here and just being a part of the nightlife business. I’m going to make sure the kids are having a good time. We are going to make sure those parents are having a good time — all the good stuff like that — good vibes, good entertainment,” said DJ DTrayne.
For the past 11 years, DJ DTrayne has worked in the business and says he works hard to keep the crowd happy.
“We are going to playing stuff for the kids. We are going to be playing some country music. We are going to be playing a little bit of fun, hip hop music, line dances — all that good stuff,” said DJ DTrayne. “Come on out and have a good time. It’s a good time in Seguin, Texas, Fourth of July weekend. We are going to do it big ya’ll. I’m just honored to be a part of this.”
Like DTrayne, Brandon Michael is also from Seguin and is being given this opportunity to perform before his home crowd. Michael will perform from 8 to 11 p.m. while DJ DTrayne will provide music non-stop from 6 to 11 p.m.
This year’s Freedom Fiesta will be held from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday in Central Park. There is no cost to attend.
