SEGUIN, Texas — As announced by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly CoSIDA, on Tuesday, junior Braydee Frederick (Normangee/Normangee) and sophomore Jacqueline Springs (Seguin/Navarro) have been named to the CSC Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team.
It is the first Academic All-District honor for both Frederick and Springs. Both women were named WGCA All-American Scholars last season.
Frederick has maintained a 3.94 GPA as a psychology major while Springs has maintained a 3.95 GPA as a Biology major.
Frederick and Springs were the backbone of the 2024 women’s golf team – leading the squad as the top two finishers for TLU in every tournament in 2024.
The 2024 Academic All-District® Men’s and Women’s At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA national office.
