(San Antonio) — On Thursday, Seguin High School quarterback Corey Dailey locked down his second Division-I FBS college football offer in the last six days.

Dailey announced on social media yesterday that he received an offer from UTSA while attending the school’s football camp. Last Friday, the Matador signal caller was offered by Texas State at their football camp. Dailey has also received college football offers from Division-I FCS schools UT-Rio Grande Valley and Incarnate Word.

The UTSA Roadrunners are led by head coach Jeff Traylor. Traylor has compiled a 39-14 record through four years as the UTSA head coach. The Roadrunners went 9-4 last year finishing the season with the program’s first ever bowl win, a 35-17 victory over Marshall in the Frisco Bowl.

Dailey has started 21 games at quarterback for Seguin. He has thrown for 3,660 yards with 43 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in two seasons as the Matador starting quarterback. In 2023, Dailey was selected as a District 12-5A honorable mention as a sophomore. As a freshman, Dailey was named the district’s Offensive Newcomer of the Year following the 2022 season.

Dailey will lead the Seguin Matadors at quarterback in his junior year in 2024. Seguin will start their season on August 30th when they host the Alamo Heights Mules at Matador Stadium.
