Texas-sized event for artists, musicians plus authors returns to Seguin


Lone Star Festival set for Saturday

(Seguin) – Get ready to join authors, artists and musicians from all across Texas during the 3rd Annual Lone Star Festival in downtown Seguin.  The Lone Star Festival is a book, art and music festival that supports the Texas artist.

Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street and CVB director, says the event returns to Seguin for another year and opportunity  — giving artist a place that they can meet and share ideas, crafts and knowledge.

“Downtown will be filled with Texas authors, musicians and other vendors and so it’s really trying to connect the public with really the authors of Texas. It’s held by the Texas Authors Institute of History,” said Kramm.

Kramm says Seguin is prviledged to have so many talented writers and musicians in town for the event.

It’s bringing in authors from all across the state and so there will be all sorts of authors so if you are really a big fan of enjoy reading, it’s a great time to come out and meet authors and learn about the different genres and the people that live in Texas and in our communities that are writing some great books on history, fiction, all sorts of great stories being told by your fellow Texans,” said Kramm.

Performing live at 11 a.m. with be musician Nathan Kearney. He will be followed by Bill James at 2 p.m.

The Lone Star Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in downtown Seguin.
