Alora Wachholz
(Seguin) — The City of Seguin recently announced that Alora Wachholz, CEcD, MEDP, has joined the Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) team as Deputy Director.
Wachholz brings over 13 years of experience and expertise in economic development to the organization.
In her new role, Alora will assist the Executive Director in planning and implementing all economic development activities including marketing, recruitment, and business retention and expansion.
Wachholz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas State University and a Master of Public Administration with a focus in Economics from the University of North Texas.
In 2018, Wachholz became a recognized Certified Economic Developer through the International Economic Development Council and in 2020, she completed accreditation as a Master Economic Development Professional through the Advanced Economic Development Leadership Program.
