(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matadors will hope to play a couple tiebreaker games today at the North East Sports Complex in San Antonio.

Seguin finished the District 26-5A season in a three-way tie with Kerrville-Tivy and New Braunfels Canyon. The Matadors will play Canyon this afternoon at 4 p.m. The winner of the game will play Tivy for a trip to the Bi-District round. The second game will begin at 7 O’clock.

We will have all of Seguin’s games on KWED. Our Matador baseball pregame starts at around 3:45 this afternoon from the North East Sports Complex on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.

The winner of today’s tiebreaker will face either Cedar Park or Liberty Hill from District 25-5A. Those teams are meeting today in a tiebreaker game to determine the top seed from that district.

The Navarro and Marion baseball teams have clinched spots in the playoffs. They will start their respective Bi-District series on Thursday.

The Panthers, the second place team from District 28-4A, will take on Fredericksburg. The Billies finished third in District 27-4A.

Game one will be held on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fredericksburg High School. Game two is Friday night at 7 p.m. at Navarro High School. And a game three, if necessary, will be held on Saturday evening at 6 O’clock at Wimberley High School.

The Marion Bulldogs, the champions of District 26-3A who finished unbeaten in district play for the fifth straight season, will face Tidehaven in Bi-District. Tidehaven was the fourth place finisher in District 25-3A. The series will be held in Weimar.

Game one is Thursday at Weimar Veterans Park. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. Game two will be held on Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. and a game three, if necessary, will take place 30 minutes after the completion of game two.
