(Geronimo) — We’re in Geronimo tonight as the Navarro Lady Panthers take on San Antonio Memorial at Navarro High School.

The Lady Panthers are 4-1 in District 28-4A. They won their first four district games before falling last Thursday to Class 4A fourth-ranked Cuero.

Senior Kaislynn Tovar along with sophomores Cadee Zimmer and Shelbie Stevens lead the Navarro lineup. The combined trio is hitting over .500 so far this season.

Tonight’s first pitch is set for 6:30 p.m. We’ll have our Lady Panther pregame coverage starting at 6:15 this evening on AM 1580 and streaming at SeguinToday.com.

(Geronimo) — Right next door to the softball field at Navarro High School, the Panther baseball team will take on La Vernia.

The Bears took down Navarro last Thursday, 7-3 in La Vernia handing the Panthers their first district loss after a 2-0 start. La Vernia is 3-0 and in first place in the district.

Tonight’s game gets underway at 7 O’clock at Navarro High School.

(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matadors, coming off a walk-off victory over Kerrville Tivy on Thursday, are in San Antonio tonight to take on San Antonio Wagner.

The Mats are 2-4 in District 26-5A play. The Thunderbirds are winless through six district games. Tonight’s first pitch is set for 7 p.m. at Wagner High School.

(Spring Branch) — The Seguin Lady Matadors, winners of two straight run-rule victories, will travel to first place Smithson Valley tonight.

The Lady Mats outscored their opponents 31-0 in two wins last week to even their district record at 4-4. Smithson Valley is 7-1 in district. They knocked off the Lady Mats, 7-1 back on March 8th in Seguin.

Tonight’s game starts at 7 O’clock at Smithson Valley High School.

(Universal City) — And both the Marion baseball and softball teams are in Universal City this evening to take on District 26-3A rival Randolph.

The Marion baseball team kept their 5-year district winning streak alive on Thursday with three runs in the bottom of the 7th to rally past Great Hearts Northern Oaks, 7-6. Marion is 4-0 in district. The Lady Bulldogs, 2-1 in district, will look to rebound tonight after a 15-11 loss at Luling in their last district game last Tuesday.
