(Colmesneil) — The Navarro boys powerlifting team took home the Class 4A Region 4 Division 2 Championship on Thursday at Colmesneil High School.
Eight Navarro Panthers qualified for the state meet with their performances in the regional championship. Those student-athletes were:
Nick Aranda- 114lb, 920lb Total
Evan Rodriguez- 123lb, 970lb Total
Ashton Evans- 132lb, 1115lb Total
Gabe Rangel- 148lb, 1345lb Total
Korbin Benes- 148lb, 1200lb Total
Nick Schwarzlose- 181lb, 1365lb Total
Matt Richardson- 198lb, 1425lb Total
Mack Berry- 198lb, 1400lb Total

The Panthers move on to state powerlifting championships, which will be held on March 21st and 22nd in Abilene.
