(Seguin) — This morning’s Saturday Topic program features a look at the race for Guadalupe County Sheriff. Joshua Ray and Patrick Pinder will join me on the program this morning to discuss their qualifications for the job, and why they think they are the right person to replace Sheriff Arnold Zwicke, who decided to retire at the end of this year.
Ray currently serves as the chief deputy for the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office, while Pinder serves as the Guadlaupe county emergency managemnt coordinator and fire marshal.
Both men are seeking the Republican nomination during the March GOP Primary. There will not be a Democratic nominee, so the winner of the Republican primary will effectively win the seat and run unopposed during the November general election.
