(Seguin) — With the start of 2024, Seguin Main Street is seeking vendors for our 2024 Trade Days scheduled for April 27 and October 26. The semi-annual Trade Days are held in conjunction with the larger events of April’s Earth Day Festival and October’s Pecan Fest.
Vendors selling handmade items, art, food, home goods, outdoor décor, jewelry, clothing, and more are welcome. At the April show, vendors selling eco-friendly, sustainable products are highly encouraged; and at the October show, vendors selling pecan products are highly encouraged.
“Seguin Main Street’s Trade Days have been a fundraiser for downtown for over two decades and continue to bring thousands of people to downtown Seguin every year,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director, “We hope the people coming to shop at Trade Days will then go visit our downtown merchants and restaurants.”
The cost to be a vendor is $45.00 for a 10′ by 10′ booth without electric and $50.00 for a booth with electric. Food vendors must also pay a $25.00 temporary food permit fee.
The vendor application can be found on the City of Seguin’s website under Main Street. You may also pick up an application at the Seguin Visitor Center at 200 S. Austin Street or by calling (830) 401-2475.
Not only is Seguin Main Street accepting vendors for its markets, but the monthly Yellow Rose Artisan Market welcomes applications for vendors selling handmade products. The market, hosted by the Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta, is held on the second Sunday and fourth Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vendors are encouraged to sign up for the market via their website, www.yellowrosefiberfiesta.com <http://www.yellowrosefiberfiesta.com>.
