David Mata Rodriguez, age 79, with loving family close by, passed from this world on Monday, January 15, 2024. David was born in New Braunfels, Texas, on March 13, 1944 to Aniceto and Maria Inez Rodriguez. David is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Maria H. Rodriguez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at the Lux Funeral Home Chapel from 5PM to 9PM. (6PM sharing the Word and memories of David and A Holy Rosary recital at 7PM) Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM, Monday, January 29 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with a procession following to Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Reception afterwards will be held at St. Peter & Paul Hall, located at 386 N. Castell Ave., New Braunfels, Tx. 78130.
