The McDonald’s All-American nominee will lead the Matadors tonight into a District 26-5A match-up with the Smithson Valley Rangers. Jackson who went over 2000 points in his career on Tuesday against Pieper is averaging 27.9 points per game, which is second in the state in scoring in Class 5A and fourth in the state in all classifications.

(Fredericksburg) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers are in Fredericksburg for a District 27-4A match-up with the first place Lady Billies. Fredericksburg is ranked sixth in the latest Class 4A state girls poll. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. tonight in the Hill Country.
(Geronimo) — The Navarro boys are at home in Geronimo tonight to host Fredericksburg. The Panthers and Billies are still looking for their first district wins. The game tips at 6:30 p.m. at Navarro High School.
(Luling) — And the Marion Bulldog teams are in Luling for a District 26-3A girls/boys double header. The Lady Bulldogs are looking for their third straight district win while the Bulldog boys will try to rebound from a loss to first place Great Hearts Northern Oaks on Tuesday.
The girls game between the Lady Eagles and Lady Bulldogs starts tonight’s twin bill at 6:15 p.m. this evening at Luling High School.
(San Antonio) — Last night, the Lifegate Christian basketball teams split a pair of games at Sunnybrook Christian. The Lady Falcons crushed the Lady Lions, 60-20. The Falcons boys fell, 89-61.
