That’s according to Patrick Pinder, the emergency management coordinator and fire marshal. Pinder says a team of departments recently met to discuss preparations for this arctic blast both now and for those anticipated for throughout the rest of the winter season.. He says as temperatures continue to drop significantly in the next two days, the teams remain geared up and ready to monitor road conditions. Plus, he says they are ready to respond promptly to any emerging challenges.
With temperatures still expected to reach freezing levels for an extended period, residents are urged to safeguard their homes. Pinder says the community is encouraged to follow these essential guidelines to protect themselves and their property.
