On the high school basketball courts tonight,
(San Antonio) — The Seguin Matadors, 1-1 in District 26-5A play, are in San Antonio to take on Veterans Memorial. The Patriots are 2-0 so far in the district season. Tip off is set for 6:30 p.m. tonight at Veterans Memorial High School.
(Geronimo) — The Navarro Panthers are at home tonight for a District 27-4A tilt with the Boerne Greyhounds. Navarro is looking for their first district victory after losses to Bandera and Davenport.
Boerne is 1-0 in district play winning their lone district game so far against Wimberley. The Greyhounds and Panthers tip tonight at 6:30 p.m. in Geronimo.
(Marion) — The Marion Bulldogs are off today. They will open District 26-3A play next Tuesday at home against Ingram Moore.
Turning to the girls,
(Seguin) — The Seguin Lady Matadors host Veterans Memorial tonight. Lady Mat senior Desiree Zuniga is shooting lights out from deep this season. Zuniga has made 74 three-pointers through 24 games, ranking second in the state in Class 5A. Tip off of tonight’s girls game between Seguin and Veterans Memorial is set for 6:30 p.m. at Seguin High School.
(Boerne) — The Navarro Runnin’ Lady Panthers District 27-4A gauntlet continues tonight on the road against another top 10 opponent. The Lady Panthers are in the Hill Country to face Class 4A 8th-ranked Boerne.
The Lady Greyhounds are just one spot behind district rival and 7th-ranked Fredericksburg, who knocked off Navarro in Geronimo last month. Boerne and Navarro will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Boerne High School.
(Marion) — And we’ll be in Marion tonight for the Lady Bulldogs start of their district schedule.
The Lady Bulldogs will battle the Randolph Lady Ro-Hawks tonight in a game you can hear on KWED. The teams split their District 26-3A games last season with each team winning on their opponent’s home court.

(Corpus Christi) — And the Lifegate Christian basketball teams are back in action for their first games tonight following the Christmas break.
The Falcons and Lady Falcons will travel to Corpus Christi to take on Annapolis Christian Academy in a girls/boys double header. The girls game will tip off first at 6 O’clock tonight at Annapolis Christian Academy.
