(Seguin) — You will want to stay close to your radio Thursday morning.
The winner of this year’s KWED Christmas Angel contest will be announced. KWED News Director Cindy Aguirre-Herrera will again host the radio segment — announcing this year’s winner plus the person nominating the individual or family. As part of the letter writing contest, the Christmas Angel requested that the letter be shared live on the air.
For the winner, this will be the first time that they along with the rest of our KWED listeners will get to hear what the person nominating them had to say. All month long, KWED has been collecting letters from anyone in Guadalupe County. The KWED Christmas Angel Contest is an annual effort to illustrate the true meaning of Christmas.
The winner again will be announced live at 11 a.m. Thursday. Be sure to listen to AM 1580 KWED or online at SeguinToday.com. Listening online is as easy as clicking the listen live button found on the top right corner of the page or by simply asking Alexa to play KWED.
