SEGUIN, Texas — Texas Lutheran Baseball announced its 2024 schedule, featuring 23 home games at Katt-Isbel Field. The Bulldogs will also play in the Concordia Classic at Concordia University in Austin, February 9-10. The season will be the first under new head coach and TLU Baseball alum Kyle Palmer ’09 and the 75th in the program’s history.
The Bulldogs open the season with a three-game series against Sul Ross State on Feb. 2-4 at Katt-Isbel Field. The Bulldogs will then face Hardin-Simmons and future SCAC foe, Concordia (TX), in the Concordia Classic, Feb. 9-10, before traveling to Richardson to face UT-Dallas in a three-game series.
TLU will then begin a 13-game homestand at Katt-Isbel Field beginning with a three-game series against Castleton University on March 1-2. The first midweek game of the season will be against Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), beginning a three-game series with the Engineers on March 6-8.
Texas Lutheran will open conference play with a weekend series against St. Thomas, March 15-16. In league play, Texas Lutheran will host the Celts, Dallas, Schreiner, and Centenary and also travel to Austin College, Trinity, and Southwestern.
The 2024 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament returns to The Depot at Cleburne Station, Friday, May 3-Sunday, May 5.
