Seguin PD arrests two in connection with video threat against SHS

(Seguin) — The Seguin Police Department has arrested two people in connection with a video that allegedly shows two people making threats against Seguin High School.

The two suspects were identified as the males in the video that had been posted online and was circulating among students, parents and teachers — raising the anxiety level for many who were worried about sending their kids to school today.

The suspects have been identified as 18-year old Isiah Heider, of Seguin; and 19-year old Franklin Napier, of Seguin. They were discovered as part of the ongoing investigation and warrants were obtained for Heider and Naiper for one count of Terroristic Threat which was issued by State District Judge William Old III, who set bond at $100,000 each. Heider and Napier were taken into custody last night, where they were transported and booked into the Guadalupe County Jail.

In an abundance of caution, there will be an increased presence of law enforcement on campus and patrolling the area on Friday to maintain a safe environment for students and staff.

The Seguin Police Department says it continues to encourage students and citizens to “See Something, Say Something.” They say any conversations or social media posts that could potentially jeopardize the safety of students and staff, should be reported immediately. This case remains under investigation.
