(Seguin) – A local couple is behind bars after drugs, cash and firearms were seized at a downtown home early Friday morning.
According to Lt. John Flores, of the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office narcotics unit, a search warrant was executed in the 600 block of East Donegan St. Flores says the search warrant resulted in the arrest of Daniel Balderas, 23 and Alyssa Rodriguez, 20.
During the apprehension and search of the residence, officers came across 4.2 grams of cocaine, 286 grams of Marijuana, THC products, 210 grams of psilocybin, 2.1 grams of Adderall, 4 firearms, cash, and bulk quantities of ammunition.
Both Balderas and Rodriguez were booked into the Guadalupe County Jail on charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 between 4 and 200 grams (cocaine), Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 between 4 and 400 grams (psilocybin), Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 2 between 4 and 400 grams (THC), and Possession of Marijuana 4 oz-5 pounds.
