Evelyn B. Jenke went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 9, 2023 at 95 years old. She was born on June 16, 1928, to Willie and Elsa Jenke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Elmer and Ervin Jenke and sister, Elenora Voss.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Loeffler; nephews, Leslie Jenke, Chester Jenke (Colleen), Dennis Jenke (Arletta), Gerald Voss, Bobby Voss, Rodney Loeffler (Laura) and 1 niece Brenda Hopkins (Johnny).
Evelyn grew up on the family farm in Marion, Texas. She was a hard worker on the farm and later at a wool mill, sewing factory and Seguin ISD cafeteria.
In lieu of flowers consider contributions to Redeemer United Church in Zuehl, Texas or to Guadalupe Regional Hospice Services in Seguin, Texas.
Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Celebration of Life at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Redeemer United Church in Zuehl, Texas. Interment will follow at Redeemer United Church Cemetery.
