(Seguin) — A motorcyclist was killed following a two vehicle accident at the intersection of State Highway 123 S. and State Highway 46 on the south side of Seguin.
The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. Friday. Arriving on scene were both the Seguin Police Department and Seguin Fire/EMS Department. Seguin Police Department officials say the victim, Trenton Gary Phillips, 22, of Seguin was riding a Honda CBR 6000RR motorcycle when it collided with a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 pickup truck.
Phillips was transported by Seguin EMS to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck was not injured.
The investigation into the accident continues.
