(Seguin) – The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce is preparing for its best awards banquet yet. That’s according to Chamber President Chester Jenke who shared his excitement about this year’s event scheduled tonight at the Seguin Coliseum. Jenke says registration closed last week after securing a sold-out crowd. This year’s guest speaker is Seguin native Cynthia Lee. Lee, a former San Antonio TV anchor is now an award winning commercial real estate agent. Tonight’s banquet will also feature the passing of the gavel from current Chair Natalie Jones to the incoming Chairman of the Board William VanderWaal.
The annual banquet helps to recognize those businesses and community leaders who work to promote the quality of life and benefits of doing business in Seguin. Ticket holders are reminded about tonight’s banquet scheduled from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
