Seguin, TX, USA / Seguin Today
De Mano A Mano Artisan Market call for vendors

A day of connection between local artisans and the Seguin community

(Seguin) — Teatro is excited to bring back its De Mano A Mano Artisan Market to the Seguin community. This year, the artisan market is on the historic Plataforma Hidalgo grounds of Teatro’s Cultural Arts Center located at 921 W. New Braunfels St.  The artisan market will be held Saturday, Oct. 21, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Organizers say they look forward to folks joining them as they support local artisans from Seguin and surrounding areas. Food and refreshments will also be sold by the Ballet Folklórico De La Rosa performance group. The food menu includes sausage wraps, nachos, sno-cones, aguas frescas plus more.

Vendors are welcome to sign up by visiting Teatro’s website’s homepage www.teatrodeartes.org and clicking the De Mano a Mano link to complete the Google form application.

Vendor selection is limited to handmade and homegrown items ONLY and vendor fees are $55 per slots.

To ensure a good mix of merchandise, organizers say vendors selling the same or similar merchandise will be limited and will be selected at Teatro’s discretion.

Examples of merchandise that CAN be sold are homegrown plants, flowers and succulents, handmade jewelry, handmade barn wood crafts, handmade purses, handmade art, handmade clothing, handmade canned or pre-packaged food, etc. Vendors will be allowed to sell ONLY the items listed on the application unless prior approval has been received from the Teatro staff. Teatro reserves the right to accept vendors and selections.

Deadline to register to be a vendor is Friday, September 29 or until all vendor slots have been filled. Withdrawal as a vendor from De Mano A Mano Market must be in writing and emailed to teatrodeartes@gmail.com. They can also notify the program coordinator by calling 830-401-0232. Vendors will be refunded the full amount ($55) if withdrawal is before Oct.1.
