As you make your way throughout Guadalupe County, you might want to take note of the colorful pinwheel gardens that have sprung up across the area. In each of those 15 gardens, exactly 903 pinwheels have been planted. The 903 illustrates the number of children that were served this past year by the Guadalupe County Children's Advocacy Center.
Christy Williams, executive director of the Guadalupe County Children's Advocacy Center, says the pinwheels are just one of the numerous items that have been included in this month's schedule to help observe the month of April as National Child Abuse Prevention Month and to raise awareness on the seriousness of child abuse and neglect here in Seguin and Guadalupe County.
