(Seguin) — The Guadalupe County Children’s Advocacy Center is hoping you can help it put the finishing touches on its annual night of games, prizes, food and fun.
Executive Director Christy Williams says the non-profit serving children and their families when there are allegations of sexual abuse, physical abuse or other serious crimes, is looking to pull in some much-needed sponsors and silent auction items for its Viva Las Vegas Casino Night scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at the Blue Bonnet Palace.
“We are trying to secure just a few more silent auction items, live auction items and bucket drawing items this week as well as sponsorships,” said Williams.
Tickets to the casino fundraiser are also now available for purchase. Advance tickets are $50 and includes heavy hors-d’oeuvres plus gaming chips.
Williams says the need for sponsors are especially important.
“It’s a really great way for businesses to get the word out to people to show their support for the Guadalupe County Children’s Advocacy Center but it is also something that can be done by individuals or families to show their support,” said Williams.
