SEGUIN, Texas — Texas Lutheran Volleyball has announced its complete 2023 schedule, featuring six home matches at Memorial Gymnasium. The schedule also features five matches against teams from last season’s NCAA Tournament field.
The Bulldogs will open their season on the road against Birmingham-Southern and 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifier, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, on September 1 and Whitworth on September 2 at Calgaard Gymnasium in San Antonio.
The Bulldogs will then travel to Georgetown to face LeTourneau and Concordia on September 8 and NCAA Tournament qualifier Aurora University on September 9 prior to a NCAA Tournament rematch with University of Chicago on September 15 in their first of four games in Thousand Oaks, California.
Texas Lutheran begins its home schedule at Memorial Gymnasium starting with the home opener against Huston-Tillotson on Wednesday, September 27. TLU will also host Our Lady of the Lake on October 11 in non-conference action.
In SCAC play, TLU travels to Georgetown September 23-24, for the first tri-match weekend against Colorado College, Schreiner, and 2022 National Runner-Up, Trinity University. TLU will travel to Houston for a single match with St. Thomas on September 30 before hosting Austin College, Dallas, and Centenary for their home SCAC weekend.
TLU will also host Southwestern on October 24.
TLU won its first SCAC Championship and made its third NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022.
