Special by Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street and CVB director
(Seguin) — Make your plans to go green at Seguin’s Earth Day Festival and Spring Trade Days next Saturday, April 29 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in Central Park. The spring festival is returning to downtown packed with shopping, education, crafts, and more.
The event will feature over 20 exhibitors educating the community on green living. Activities will include plant sales, demonstrations on water quality, planting seeds, education on electric vehicles, and more. Seguin Animal Services and ARF will be in the park to help pets find their FURever homes as well.
“The Earth Day Festival is fun for the whole family, there are craft projects for the kids and shopping and demonstrations for the adults,” said Kyle Kramm, Seguin Main Street & CVB Director, “We have some new exhibitors this year that we are glad to have joining us, including Jiles Solar Power to educate how to reduce your energy bill, increase your home value all while benefiting the environment and Artable Curiosities who will be discussing reuse of household items for art and other purposes.”
The festival also includes the Earth Day Passport. Visitors can use the passport to visit with the exhibitors. Once completed, passports can be turned in for a bag of goodies and educational information.
In addition to the Earth Day exhibitors, there will be 80 Trade Day vendors set up around Central Park selling yard décor, jewelry, home goods, art, food, and more. Our vendors always bring a variety of wonderful products perfect for gifting.
