UPDATED: Area Baseball Teams Compete in Final Week of Regular Season

In action on the high school baseball diamond tonight:

(San Antonio) — The Navarro Panthers are at San Antonio Memorial in a district match-up. The Panthers have clinched a playoff spot and will play in the Bi-District round next week.

Navarro is 6-2 in District 28-4A play with two games left in the regular season. The Panthers are in a three-way tie for first place in the district with La Vernia and San Antonio Kennedy. Navarro will close their district schedule with a home game against Memorial on Friday.

First pitch for tonight’s game between the Minutemen and Panthers is set for 7 p.m. at Memorial High School.

(Seguin) — And the Seguin Matadors are at Boerne-Champion for the first of two games between the Chargers and Matadors this week. Tonight’s game has a 7 O’clock first pitch. Seguin will close out their season on Friday against Champion at Smokey Joe Williams Field.

(Marion) — And the Marion Bulldog baseball game against Austin Waves scheduled for tonight has been canceled.
