There is lots of high school baseball and softball taking place tonight.

(Seguin) — The Seguin Matadors will look for a split this week against Veterans Memorial when they play the Patriots tonight at Smokey Joe Williams Field. Veterans Memorial slipped by Seguin 10-9 in San Antonio on Tuesday.

You’ll hear tonight’s game between the Mats and Patriots on KWED. Our Matador pregame show starts at 6:45 p.m. with first pitch at 7 p.m. at Smokey Joe on AM 1580 and streaming worldwide at SeguinToday.com.

(Seguin) — The Seguin Lady Matadors will host Veterans Memorial this evening.

The Lady Mats are 8-3 in District 26-5A play with three games left in the regular season. Seguin trails 9-2 Smithson Valley and 11-0 New Braunfels Canyon. The Lady Matadors split the season series with Smithson Valley, they will play at unbeaten Canyon this coming Tuesday.

Tonight’s game against Veterans Memorial starts at 7 p.m. at Seguin High School.

(Geronimo) — The Navarro Panther baseball team hosts San Antonio Kennedy tonight.

The Panthers are in third place in District 28-4A, one game behind Kennedy and La Vernia. Navarro handed Kennedy their first loss of the district season in San Antonio on Tuesday. Tonight’s first pitch between the Panthers and Rockets is set for 7 O’clock in Geronimo.

(Gonzales) — The Navarro Lady Panther softball team is 7-0 in district play and they will be in Gonzales tonight.

Navarro has a one-game lead over Cuero with three games left to play in the district season. Tonight’s game between the Lady Apaches and Lady Panthers starts at 7 p.m. at Gonzales High School.

(Luling) — And both the Marion baseball and softball teams are in Luling tonight.

The Bulldog baseball team is 7-0 in District 26-3A, two games in front of San Antonio Cole. The Lady Bulldogs are 4-2 in district play, one game behind Nixon-Smiley.

Both Marion baseball and softball games against Luling start tonight at 7 p.m. at Luling High School.
