(Seguin) – Investigation continues into a one vehicle accident that left both the driver and a passenger dead. Sgt. Kenny Mata, of the Texas Department of Public Safety, says the accident happened just before 4 a.m. Thursday on FM 1117. The fatality occurred just south of Highway 90 about a half mile north of mile marker 492.
Mata says the 2004 Toyota Tundra pickup truck was reportedly heading north on FM 1117 when for some unknown reason veered across the roadway into the southbound lane –causing the vehicle to roll. During the rollover accident, the vehicle crashed into barb wire fencing and a tree.
The identities of the victims have not been released. However, the victim is said to have been an 80-year-old woman.
