(Seguin) — The Guadalupe County Elections Office has released the final totals for Tuesday’s runoff elections in the cities of Schertz and Cibolo.
Ralph Gutierrez earned another term as mayor in the city of Schertz. Gutierrez received 1,569 votes, while Cedric Edwards received 988 votes.
In the race for the Place 2 seat on the Schertz City Council, Michelle Watson defeated Tiffany Gibson. Watson received 1,375 votes to Gibson’s 1,030 votes.
The race for mayor in the city of Cibolo was the only other item on Tuesday’s local ballot. Mark Allen cruised to victory over Summer-Marie Brown. Allen received 1,296 votes, while Brown garnered only 519 votes as part of the runoff.
