Deadline arrives TODAY for KWED Christmas Angel Contest
(Seguin) — Today is the deadline to drop off your KWED Christmas Angel letter in the radio station lobby. The deadline to enter your letter is 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.6
The KWED Christmas Angel is hoping to collect a large batch of letters for this year’s contest.
Both children and adults are encouraged to submit a letter explaining why their family or someone they know deserves to be selected for $500 cash this holiday season.
The idea behind the contest is to illustrate the true meaning of giving. Although the contest is dubbed a letter writing contest, consideration will only be on the reasoning for the letter and not on the actual writing talent of that letter.
Entries must include the name of the person nominating, the individual or family along with their address, email (if available) and phone number.
Letters written without a name or phone number will not be accepted. Letters are asked to be returned to Seguin Radio KWED located at 609 E. Court St. Letters may be dropped off using the mail slot found on the front door. The winner of the contest will be announced next week.
