(Geronimo) — The volleyball post-season all-district selections have been announced for District 27-4A and a number of the Navarro Lady Panthers received recognition on the 1st and 2nd teams along with honorable mentions.
The Lady Panthers picked for All-District recognition are as follows:
Taylor Helms (Jr, Outside Hitter) and Tegan Harborth (Soph, Libero) – 1st Team All-District
Ryanne Hepp (Sr, Middle Blocker) – 2nd Team All-District
Tatum Harborth (Sr, Setter), Leanne Rodriguez (Sr, Outside) & Morgan Helms (So, Opposite) – Honorable Mention
Taylor Helms was among the leaders for the Lady Panthers on the season with a kill percentage of nearly 40 percent. Her ace percentage was close to 13 percent on her serves.
Hepp was a leader in blocks along the front line for Navarro this year. Tegan Harborth lead the Lady Panthers with an average of over 16 digs per match.
The Navarro Lady Panther volleyball team won 18 games overall in the 2022 season and finished in 4th place in District 27-4A with a 7-5 district mark. Navarro advanced to the UIL Class 4A Region IV Bi-District round and were lead by coach Misty Remmers.
