(Corpus Christi) — The Navarro Lady Panther Cross Country Team finished 5th at the UIL 4A Region IV Championship on Monday. The Lady Panthers were lead by Zoe Carter who crossed the line in 12th place. Elizabeth Hagan, Madison Gilliam, Vanessa Garcia, Linlee Sturm, Lilia Flo and Sofia Salazar also placed for the Navarro girls cross country squad.

In the Varsity Boys division, Navarro’s Ethan Luu finished in 3rd place overall. Ethan crossed the line with a time of 16:49.62, which is his personal best.
Both Zoe Carter and Ethan Luu will advance to the State Championship meet on November 4 in Round Rock. Carter will race at 8:30am and Luu will start at 9:00am.
