Seguin, Navarro plus Marion ISDs share opportunities
(Seguin) – Getting rid of any of those first day of school jitters begins tonight with the annual Meet the Teacher at Seguin ISD campuses. Parents are asked to check the scheduled opportunity at their respective campus as the timeframes vary between 4 and 6:30 p.m. Parents, however, should have received a message on their particular event via text or email.
All teacher assignments will be provided to the students when they arrive on campus.
Meet the Teacher is also the time in which students are encouraged to bring their marked school supplies to their classrooms.
It’s also Meet the Teacher today for secondary students. Both A.J. Briesemeister and Jim Barnes Middle Schools will host their events from 5 to 7 p.m. Seguin High School will also give its students the time to navigate around the campus for their collective classrooms and teachers from 4 to 6 p.m.
The first day of school for Seguin ISD is Monday, Aug. 15.
Today is also Navarro Junior High School Schedule Pick Up Day. Schedules will be available from 5 to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Those unable attend today can pick up their classroom schedule from 9 to 3 p.m. on Friday.
Navarro Fish Camp is also scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday at the Navarro High School Cafeteria. Students will get to tour the campus and learn what to expect on their first day of school.
Navarro elementary and intermediate Meet the Teacher events are scheduled for Monday, Aug. 15. The elementary school schedule includes families with last names starting with A-L from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and M-Z from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The schedule for the intermediate school is families with last names starting with M-z from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and A-L from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The Navarro High School Schedule Pick Up is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 16. The schedule includes Seniors at 9 a.m., followed by Juniors at 10 am and Sophomores at 11 a.m.
The first day of school for the Navarro ISD is Wednesday, Aug. 17.
Today is also Meet the Teacher for the younger students at Marion ISD. The schedule includes Krueger Primary from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and Karrer Elementary from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Bulldog Camp for all new and incoming Marion sixth graders will follow on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon in the middle school gym. A 6th grade parent meeting, however, will be hosted today at 7 p.m. in middle school secondary cafeteria.
The first day of school for Marion ISD is Tuesday, Aug. 16.
