Meteorite, Shooting Star
(Seguin) — Did you notice something unusual in the sky last night? If so, you’re not alone. Residents across South Central Texas are still asking themselves what was it they saw last night in the sky.
Meteorologists say they think it was probably some space debris that burnt up entering the atmosphere and not a meteor, because a meteor does not last very long as it streaks across the sky. Last night’s light lasted longer than a few seconds, which makes meteorologists think it was space junk because it traveled more slowly than a meteor.
Some people also report hearing a booming sound around that same time.
