(Seguin) — Volunteers and sponsors are still very much needed for major track and field events coming to Seguin this summer. The AAU District Championship meet will be held June 24 and 25, and the Regional Qualifying meet will follow on June 29 through July 2. All of the events will take place at Matador Stadium. Hundreds of athletes are expected to participate in the meets.
Sponsors of all kinds are needed to get these events off the ground and keep them coming back to Seguin. The city of Seguin is also looking for volunteers that will help to run both track meets. Potential volunteers and sponsors cand find out more information at seguintexas.gov/AAU.
