Martha Hysaw Davis died the June 16, 2022 at the age of 80. She was retired as a teacher in the Seguin ISD. One of her teaching positions was at Weinert elementary School. Her husband, Royce Davis was a teacher in the SISD, as well as an administrator, having served Breisemeister Middle school and Saegert Middle school.
Martha was active in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ and served as President of the East Diocese Women’s Council, Region XI Administration as well. The funeral services, for Martha Hysaw Davis, are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25 at Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church. Visitation will be held form 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 24 at the Refuge Church of our Lord. Interment will be in Zion Hill Cemetery No. 2.
Survivors include her husband, Royce Davis; daughter, Reva Davis Farber; son, Anthony Davis; sisters, Ella Mae Hysaw and Tina Hysaw; and one brother, Elder L.T. Hysaw.
The services are entrusted to the reverent care of Eunice and Lee Mortuary.
