Heroin which field tested for Fentanyl taken off of streets in Seguin, Guadalupe

(Seguin) – A Fort Worth woman’s trip to Seguin did not go as planned and that’s all thanks to the Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force who on Tuesday conducted a narcotics operation in the 1300 block of East Court Street.

Officers with the Guadalupe County Narcotics Task Force say they had reason to believe that Amber Elise Jimenez, 27, of Fort Worth had traveled to Seguin to sell a large quantity of Heroin.

Through the Task Force’s investigation, Jimenez was located on East Court Street. The Task Force made contact with Jimenez which led to a search of Jimenez’s vehicle. Narcotics Investigators with the Task Force found Jimenez to be in possession of approximately 1,634 grams of black tar Heroin, which field tested positive for Fentanyl.

Jimenez was also found to be in possession of 2.4 grams of Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Jimenez was arrested and booked into the Guadalupe County Adult Detention Center on charges of Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1-B greater than 400 grams (Heroin/Fentanyl) and Possession of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1 greater than 1 gram but less than 4 grams (Methamphetamine).

The street value for the narcotics seized is estimated at over $60,000. The case has been forwarded to the Guadalupe County Attorney’s Office.
