(Seguin) – Seguin and Guadalupe County will provide a pair of opportunities to recognize American heroes this Memorial Day Holiday. The first is the annual Memorial Day Flag Ceremony. The event will be hosted by the American GI Forum of Seguin. The flag ceremony gets underway at 10 a.m. Monday at Manuel Castilla Park located at 2261 N. Guadalupe St. Organizers say the ceremony is being held to remember and honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our country. The second event is the annual Guadalupe County Memorial Day Ceremony. The American Legion Post 245 will host the ceremony at 11 a.m. Monday at the Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
