(Seguin) Guadalupe County officials today are expected to get a sneak peek at the future drive-through at the Guadalupe County tax office.
Renderings for the project will be shared during today’s meeting of the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court.
The county is moving forward with the project that they say will enhance the operation of the office while providing convenience to its customers.
Presenting a schematic design review for the court will be representatives with Thorn Architects.
The architects will explain the slated construction on the building’s south end. The building is currently located at 307 W. Court St.
Included in its presentation will be a demolition plan for that side of the building along with an explanation of the pneumatic cylinder tube system that will be included in the project. That system is often seen at banks or hospitals, where they allow for the secure transport of small items and cash.
Commissioners will also consider approving the order to advertise and request proposals for a video surveillance system upgrade at the Guadalupe County Justice Center.
The meeting begins at 10 a.m. today in the Guadalupe County Courthouse.
