Phillip Coe was born on November 2,1950 in Gonzales, Texas to Horace Coe and Maude McClure Coe. Phillip was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Linda Chambers, who he proudly claimed as a Coe through holy matrimony on January 11, 1994. A love story to the end, Linda lovingly held her beloved’s hand for hours, and held it still, as he took his last breath.
Phillip was taken home to glory on March 6, 2022. He is preceded in death by Horace and Maude Coe (parents), Linda Coe Shaw (sister), and Bobby Coe (brother).
Phillip leaves behind Linda Coe (wife), Venessa/Austen Horton and Rachel Chambers (stepchildren), Christian, Caleb, Madyson and Cooper (step-grandchildren), Joyce/Paul Shorter (sister), Andrew Coe (brother), Sandra Coe (sister), Ronald Shaw (brother-in-law), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, and fellow band members to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 26,2022 at Rock Hill Gospel Church (1121 Oasis St. – New Braunfels, Tx) with visitation from 10AM-11AM and funeral starting at 11AM. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Seguin, Texas.
