Schlitterbahn Water Parks could soon become part of the Sea World family. A report in Bloomberg news indicates that Sea World has made a roughly $3.4 billion bid to purchase Cedar Fair, which owns Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels, as well as a number of other amusement parks across the country. According to reports, the deal is not complete and the deliberations continue. Sea World also operates a number of amusement facilities across the US, including the Sea World park in San Antonio.
