Our beloved father, Calvin Krenz, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 18.
Born January 12, 1932 in Guadalupe County, Texas, Calvin was one of four children of Otto and Anna Krenz. It was at Elm Creek School that he met the love of his life, Lucille. Their bond of love in marriage lasted for almost sixty-five years until her death in 2016.
Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Otto, Sr. and Anna Krenz; his two sisters, Lillian and Alice; and his brother, Otto, Jr. He is survived by his three sons and their spouses, Michael and his wife, Martha of San Antonio, Richard and his wife, Annette of San Antonio, and Stephen and his wife, Paulette of Nashville, Tennessee. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Katie Krenz, Andy and Melissa Krenz, Ken and Robin Krenz Grover, Patrick Steck and Kristin Krenz, Kelsey Krenz, David Krenz, Daniel and Grace Krenz, and Timothy Krenz as well as his great-grandson, Dominick Grover.
A graveside service has been scheduled for 1:00 PM on Monday January 3, 2022 at San Geronimo Cemetery in Seguin, Texas with Pastor Paul Horstman officiating.
