(Seguin) – The identities of those killed in a two-vehicle collision over the weekend have been released. Seguin Police officials say the fatal crash occurred around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 6000 block of Hwy. 90 East.
A preliminary investigation reveals that the involved Chevrolet HHR was traveling westbound on Hwy 90. Witnesses stated the Chevrolet swerved into oncoming traffic, striking a Toyota Corolla. The Chevrolet HHR quickly became engulfed in flames.
The driver of the Chevrolet HHR, Isabel Sandoval, 75, of Seguin and the driver of the Toyota Corolla, Glenette Reid, 40, of Killeen were pronounced dead at the scene. Justice of the Peace Darrell Hunter has ordered an autopsy for Sandoval. Investigation continues into the accident.
