(Seguin) — Another fiery accident has shutdown a highway in Seguin.

Interstate 10 is shutdown at FM 725 this morning, and it has traffic backed up throughout that area.

Seguin Police Chief Terry Nichols says there was a semi-trailer truck accident that ended with the truck in flames, and that caused the interstate and FM 725 to both be shut down in that area.

Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route and to avoid the area until the roadway is cleared.

One person was airlifted from the scene and was taken to a San Antonio hospital. That person, who’s name has not been released, is said to be in critical condition.

Three people were recently killed in another fiery crash on Interstate 10. That crashed happened at the end of August on I-10 at State Highway 123 Bypass.
