The Navarro ISD officially welcomed its newest member of the board of trustees. Brian Sheffler was administered the oath of office during Monday’s special meeting. Sheffler replaces longtime board member and board president Dr. Greg Gilcrease who resigned in July. Sheffler was appointed to the unexpired term and selected from a pool of seven applicants.
