Donald Linn “Don” Kenagy, age 80 of Seguin, Texas passed away on July 1, 2021.
Don was born on July 6, 1940 in Clarinda, Iowa to Florence Fae (Sproul) and David Wesley Kenagy. He is preceded in death by his late wife, Linda Behrens Kenagy and his sister, Norma Lea Shaw and husband Gene.
Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Parker Kenagy of Seguin, Texas; daughter, Kimberly Kenagy Hovanecz and husband Ronald of Daytona Beach Shores, Florida; step-daughter, Jodean Melton and husband Bruno of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Dana and Sarah Melton of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Dr. Oliver Kenagy of Brawley, California and Dean Kenagy and wife Mary of Marshalltown, Iowa; Don’s first wife and Kim’s mother, Barbara Sarrett Jester of Port Orange, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.
A memorial service celebrating Don’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Seguin with the Rev. Ray Perales and the Rev. Melissa Lind officiating. A reception will follow in Hierholzer Hall.
A memorial service is also being planned for a later date in Iowa.
